As, YADA Foundation we try to contribute to impact of civil society organizations on influencing the decisions of citizens, politics, governments, public administration, and the private sector.

WHO ARE WE?

YADA was founded in 2004 by a group of social scientists, project design and implementation experts with the vision of building a bridge between “knowledge” and “society”. Before founding YADA, the founding staff of the foundation carried out various research and application projects as a civil initiative called “YADA Project Group”. Today, we work with experts in various fields such as sociology, political science, statistics, environment, corporate social responsibility and gender equality; and we apply for consultancy of academia and the private sector in many fields.

WHAT DO WE DO?

We produce information by conducting research on civil society and CSOs; and make this information useful for CSOs. While producing the knowledge of social experience, we also design, develop and implement tools and models that will make civil society more visible and effective for citizens and decision-makers, and we strive to implement a new dialogue, negotiation and cooperation model. For this purpose, we think about developing the skills of civil society organizations to influence the judgements of citizens, public administration, politics and private sector decisions, increasing their capacity of influence, designing and implementing projects and programs.

YADA RESEARCH

We run and design various research projects by developing collaborations with different stakeholders like universities, the European Union, United Nations, consulates, private companies, public and non-governmental organizations. Until today; we have carried out over 70 research projects, published reports and books.

We transform the information we produce through research studies into viable, sustainable and impactful projects / programs. To this end, we develop, think, design and implement collaborations with the European Union, the United Nations, Embassies, international, national and local non-governmental organizations and the private sector.

We think, research and produce together with the private sector on issues that affect or have the potential to affect the social and environmental field. We make the knowledge and experience produced by civil society visible for the private sector, and we work to contribute to bringing the concepts, gaps, needs, risks and opportunities to the agenda of the private sector.
